Who we are
Kurb provides a marketplace for finding and offering parking in the United States. Contact support@parkkurb.com about privacy, data access, corrections, deletion, or an appeal of a privacy request.
Information we collect
We collect account information such as your name, email, profile photo, phone number when provided, sign-in provider identifiers, and agreement records. We store vehicle details, parking listings and photos, addresses, availability, reservations, payment and payout references, messages, reviews, support requests and evidence, and reports or blocks you submit. We also process session, device, notification-token, and technical usage information needed to operate and protect the service.
Location and permissions
With your device permission, Kurb uses location to find nearby parking. You can also search by place. Hosts provide the location and access instructions for their parking. The app limits public location detail and shares booking access information as needed for a reservation. Camera, photo-library and notification access are optional device permissions; you can change them in device settings. Avoid including unrelated people, license plates, identity documents or private details in listing photos or public text.
How we use information
We use information to create accounts, match drivers with parking, process reservations and payments, send service notices, provide support, prevent fraud, investigate reports, and improve reliability. Kurb staff may review reported messages, reviews, listings and accompanying evidence to enforce our Community Standards. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted.
Sharing and service providers
Profile and listing information and reviews may be visible to other users. Booking participants receive information needed to carry out their reservation. We use service providers for hosting and storage, maps and location search, email, realtime messages, push notifications, analytics, and payment processing. Stripe handles payment credentials, host identity checks and payout account details; Kurb stores provider references and limited payment information, not full card numbers. Apple or Google receives information when you choose its sign-in service. We may disclose records when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, safety, disputes, or protect legal rights.
Your choices and rights
You can edit profile and vehicle details, manage notification preferences, export account data, deactivate an account, or request permanent deletion in Account > Privacy. You can also use the Delete account page on this website without installing the app. Email support@parkkurb.com for access, correction, deletion, or applicable state privacy rights. We verify requests to protect your information. You may contact us to appeal a request decision. We do not treat you differently for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Deletion and retention
Deletion removes or anonymizes your account profile, sign-in credentials, vehicles and eligible uploaded account media, revokes sessions, and initiates cleanup with connected payment and Apple sign-in services. Active reservations, unresolved refunds, disputes, balances or payouts can delay completion. Reservation, transaction, support, safety and moderation records may remain where needed to resolve obligations, prevent abuse or meet legal requirements; deletion does not necessarily remove every message or review another person already received. We restrict retained records to those purposes. Expired unverified web deletion challenges are cleared after one day, and completed web request records after 30 days. Provider outages can delay cleanup and are retried. Contact us for the status or scope of your deletion.
Security and children
We use access controls and encryption for sensitive sign-in authorization tokens, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Kurb is for people at least 18 who can legally enter contracts where they live. It is not intended for children. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information.
Changes
We may update this notice as the service changes. The date on this page identifies this version. We will provide additional notice when required.
